In order to be able to provide you with targeted information and advice on products, the service providers or we may use web analysis tools, in particular tracking technology, on our behalf. These enable demand-oriented communication and advertising. In this regard, we refer to point 8. "Web analysis" services.
8. Web-analytics services we use
a) Google Analytics
This website uses Google web analysis services of Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA. ("Google"). Google web analysis services use "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other countries party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use.
We would like to point out that the code "anonymizeIp();" has been added to Google Analytics to ensure that IP addresses are collected anonymously (so-called IP masking).
The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website: Download Browser Plugin
For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
b) Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. Should the user visit certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can tell that the user clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page.
Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can opt-out of this by easily disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie by changing your browser settings. In doing so, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, see the Google Privacy Policy: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
c) Google Analytics Remarketing
Our websites use the features of Google Analytics Remarketing combined with the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and DoubleClick. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This feature makes it possible to link target audiences for promotional marketing created with Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This allows advertising to be displayed based on your personal interests, identified based on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g. your mobile phone), on other devices (such as a tablet or computer).
Once you have given your consent, Google will associate your web and app browsing history with your Google Account for this purpose. That way, any device that signs in to your Google Account can use the same personalized promotional messaging. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of users that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data to define and create audiences for cross-device ad promotion.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by turning off personalized advertising in your Google Account; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
For more information and the Google Privacy Policy, go to: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.
d) Google Tag Manager
This website uses the Google Tag Manager as part of Google Analytics. Tags are small code elements on our website that are used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behavior, to measure the impact of online advertising and social channels, to use remarketing and targeting, and to test and optimize your website. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows Sigvaris to manage website tags through a single interface. The Tool Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a cookieless domain. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
Further information about Google Tag Manager can be found on the Internet at https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/
e) Pingdom
This website uses website performance services from Pingdom. Pingdom is a SaaS application for monitoring the availability of servers, websites and online applications.

f) reCAPTCHA
To protect input forms on our site, we use the service "reCAPTCHA" of Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA ("Google"). By using this service, it can be distinguished whether the corresponding input is of human origin or is abusive through automated machine processing. The referrer URL, the IP address, the behavior of website visitors, information about operating system, browser and dwell time, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user's input behavior and mouse movements in the "reCAPTCHA" checkbox area are transmitted to "Google".
Google uses the information obtained in this way, among other things, to digitize books and other printed matter and to optimize services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (e.g. house number and street name recognition).
The IP address transmitted within the scope of "reCAPTCHA" will not be merged with other Google data unless you are logged in to your Google account at the time you use the "reCAPTCHA" plug-in. If you want to prevent this transmission and storage of data about you and your behavior on our website by "Google", you must log out of "Google" before you visit our site or use the reCAPTCHA plug-in.
The use of the service "reCAPTCHA" obtained information is in accordance with the Google Terms of Use: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
